Car Maintenance: 'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia' Style

Things You Know About Cars if You Have Seen ‘It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia’
·  Cereal is the worst thing to eat in the car.
·  Even though your friends are a great bunch of people, you will probably regret it if you let them borrow your car.
·  Getting in a car accident with someone could lead to romance.
·  If you throw something out of the front window of your car, it will probably get stuck to the side of your car or fly in again through your back window.
·  Never…ever…start a camp fire in a moving truck.

Getting Your Nissan in Shape for Summer

As the calendar turns to the summer season, many of us will be hitting the road for vacation. But before you head out, make sure your car is in great driving condition. With the temps starting to rise, don’t forget to check your engine hoses for cracks, leaks and loose connections. They should be firm, never soft and malleable.

If your car needs a little more attention and repairs, be sure to schedule a service appointment with our awesome service department!

Three Driving Tips to Help Save You Money

We all would like to find a little extra cash in our wallets every now and then. But did you know that the way you drive can actually help save you money?

The driving experience can be hacked to benefit your bank account, and by doing these three tips, it will also save you money. Here are three tips to optimize your gas mileage and help you spend less money at the pump.
  • No more junk in your trunk: Weighing down your car trunk with a set of golf clubs or an emergency water supply will take a toll on your fuel efficiency. Every extra 100 pounds is estimated to cut a vehicle's mileage by 2%.
  • You gotta keep 'em well inflated: Keeping your tires properly inflated can improve your gas mileage by 3% or more. So remember to schedule regular maintenance.
  • Buy premium and pay the price: Save money on gas by purchasing the grade that is recommended for your car — you won't benefit by spending more. You don't need premium gas to get better gas mileage.
If it's time to trade in your gas-guzzler, stop by our dealership and test drive a new Nissan today!

Three Spring Car Washing Tips

car wash
As many of us tackle our spring cleaning to-do list, we are here to remind you to not forget about your car. If you want to get your car back to showroom shape, here are three car washing tips.
  • Be sure to wash off dead bugs, bird droppings, and tree-sap mist as soon as possible.
  • Use a dedicated car-wash product, which is specifically designed for automotive paint, then apply the suds with a large, soft natural sponge or a lamb's-wool mitt.
  • After washing, use a chamois (natural or synthetic) or soft terry towels. It's best to blot the water up instead of dragging the towel or chamois over the paint.
If your car needs some repairs along with a wash, schedule a service appointment with our dealership through our website!
