Does your car look cool when it's hot?

Park in the shade – most of us pay for the privilege
of walking on a treadmill at the gym. Why not park in the shade and walk a few
extra steps?
Buy a car sun visor – either wild or mild in design,
this cheap accessory will definitely keep your car cool in the summer.
Tint your windows – while this is a little more
costly, you will reap the benefits of tinted windows year-round.
Get your car waxed – not only will you protect your
car’s paint by waxing it – but your car will also look super sleek and shiny.
Now that is a double win!

D.I.Y. Diva Project
You will need: 1 orange, 20 cloves, and some ribbon.
Step 1: Poke cloves into the orange, distributing them
evenly.
Step 2: Tie the ribbon around the orange, creating a cage of
ribbon around it. Leave some length at the end to tie in a loop.
Step 3: Secure it to the rear view mirror using the loop of
ribbon and voila!
When the sun shines through the windshield it will heat the
oranges and cloves creating a pleasant relaxing aroma. Martha Stewart and
Lauren Conrad have nothing on you!

Find Out What Your Car Color Says About Your Personality
Red: Outgoing and High Energy

Black: Classic and Elegant.
Black is truly a timeless color. Not only is it simple and versatile, it is an unmistakable symbol of power. If you are the owner of a black Cadillac, you probably have very classy taste in clothing and appreciate the finer things in life. You have an impressive talent for knowing the appropriate time to speak your mind.
Blue: Trustworthy, Calm, and Patient
Much like the ocean on a bright sunny day, blue car owners tend to be cool and calm. If your ride dons this color, you are a humanitarian. People describe you as trustworthy, sensitive, and caring. When you make friends, they are lifelong connections.
White: Direct, Organized, and Clean
Generally, if you drive a white vehicle you probably insist upon keeping your office space, home, and vehicle in pristine condition. White isn’t able to camouflage very much when it comes to mud and dust, so you definitely know the value of caring for your things. Some might describe you as being high-maintenance. We’d describe you as selective.

Best Defensive Driving Tips

2. Don't drive when you are sleepy. It's hard to gauge
how tired you are sometimes but if you have not gotten much sleep, or you feel
fatigued it is probably best to avoid driving. If you are already on the road
and you start to get white line fever or begin to nod off, pull over and rest for
a while.
3. Wear your seatbelt. Even if you are a safe driver, it
is better to be overly cautious than to be under-prepared. Fortunately, many
cars have insistent warning chimes to remind you and your passengers to buckle
up.
4. Keep your distance. If the car ahead of you slams on
their breaks, this will give you more time to react and avoid disaster.
5. Do regular maintenance on your vehicle. When your
vehicle is roadworthy, you will be too.

The Road Trip Playlist Formula
The perfect road trip requires a perfect playlist. Here are the top five tips to make sure your playlist is well-tuned when the rubber hits the road.
- Burn your playlist onto a CD so you can give it as a gift or keep it as a memory of your trip.
- Variety is the spice of life. Be sure you have a mix of old favorites, new ear worms, and crowd favorites. An eclectic selection works well with the spontaneity of road trips and enhances your sense of adventure.
- If you have passengers, make sure that their tastes are taken into consideration and their musical tastes are represented. Or, work from multiple playlists and take turns being DJ.
- Keep it positive. Good tunes make for good moods. The music you listen to on your trip is an integral part of your experience and these songs will be connected with the trip in your memory.
- Keep the flow of the music in mind. Start with something spunky and upbeat, keep longer songs for the middle when you will have longer stretches of road, and be sure to end with something epic.
